Anchor Bolts

Anchor bolts offer a robust and long-lasting way to join structural and non-structural components to concrete. To suit a range of uses, concrete foundation bolts come in multiple designs and size configurations. For simple identification after the concrete is poured, they have a headstamp.
L anchor bolts can be used to anchor lightweight post bases and secure sill plates to masonry foundations. The exposed threads of these L-shaped foundation bolts are meant to be embedded in wet concrete.

Walls are frequently fastened to concrete using J anchor bolts. Depending on how the engineer drafts their drawings, these spherical J hook bolts usually hook around rebar or another securing element inside the concrete wall. When using galvanized J bolts, the bolt must be embedded in moist concrete.
Pre-assembled anchor bolts from PAB are a flexible cast-in anchor bolt that works well in applications involving high tension loads.
Maximum performance and hold are offered by SSTB anchor bolts when used as holdown and shearwall anchor bolts.

For securing the sill plate to pre-existing foundations, wedge anchors are excellent. Using the proper Concrete Drill Bit, wedge anchors are inserted into a pre-drilled hole. The wedge is then enlarged by tightening the nut. Wedge anchors cannot be removed after they are installed, even after they have expanded.
An anchor bolt and threaded rod can be joined using coupler nuts, a tried-and-true load-rated technique.
